As i have analysed during the last year: # The lebanese central bank is trying to reduce the black market usd/lbp rate in a sustained way, in parallel he is increasing the banks USD/ LBP rate ( below a level of its capacities of cash LBP to cover his liabilities & public sectors salaries...); In order to reach a level where the banks USD/LBP rate is higher than the black market rate; by taking into consideration that the total usd fresh cash at homes reached at the beginning of 2022 a number almost near to all those together:- Government & central bank depts to crediters in foreign currencies (Eurobonds,...).- Lebanese banks unpaid USD savings to depositors. # So the Lebanese Central Bank, ( in cooperation with banks, government, politicians, usd/ lbp platforms..., In opposition of open borders), is using the follwing strategy: a) When the market is over with LBP cash, he increases the usd/ lbp rate ( through induced political events, non rational suspicious applications, regu
